VIDEO PORTFOLIO
Below is some our latest videos we have produced. whilst we have not showcased any external projects we have produced, the videos below can give you a good idea of the level of production quality we regularly produce. We take pride in creating the very best content within the timelines and budgets our clients have and we continue to strive to improve our content year on year.
We breakdown the history, stats, facts, figures and working operations of the world’s biggest self discharging bulk carrier ship. Owners and operated by Aggregate Industries at a cost of £70,000,000 to transport and offload construction materials from mineral reserve Glensanda on the west coast of Scotland.
We follow the entire journey of a rock from within the earth Aggregate Industries in Glensanda Scotland, to HS2 in London. We explore each step from extraction, to processing, to transportation over sea, rail and road, including breakdowns on hundreds of millions of pounds worth of plant and machinery.
We load a Tipper Truck and a Train with 19 wagons to their capacity in the Aggregate Industries Isle of Grain distribution site and race back to the Ashville yard in West Drayton to offload. Clearly, this is not a Drag Race and is not just about speed. The 80 mile race goes through the night and ends in the early hours of the morning.
In WW2 the treasures from the National Gallery were stored in an underground bunker for protection when bombs began to fall on London. This secret subterranean compound is 60 – 90 meters beneath the Breedon Welsh Slate quarries. Daniel investigates the bunker, history, millions of pounds of Plant and Machinery, the art of “Master Slate Splitting”, the production of slate products and the world’s fastest zip line!
As we move into our new depot and plan for the future Ashville Yard, we are weighing up train offload options: 60 Tonne Material Handler Vs Bottom Discharge System. Our current system works, but will it hamper our future growth? We breaks down how they work, what they cost, plus the benefits and limitations of both.
Glensanda is a 6,000 acre private estate on the west coast of Scotland, owned and operated by Aggregates Industries. The Infrastructure costs somewhere in the region of £250,000,000 and is one of the world’s biggest quarrying operations. The site has Viking heritage, a castle and an entire wildlife eco system.
We showcase Guilden Village, a £100m plus Purpose Built Student Accommodation (PBSA) development by Southern Grove and Future Generation. With Ashville having done the initial demolition and muck away over 2 years ago, Daniel speaks to some of the key people responsible for taking this state of the art build from start to finish.
Andrew Southern invited us over to do a property showcase on the stunning Southern Grove Show Home where Ashville done the waste management and Daniel contributed with design elements. This 13,000sqft property on an acre of land was bought for £7m, £4m was spent on the renovation and it’s now valued at £15m, that’s $18 million dollars!
We break down each stage of his international property development project from land purchase to location limitations, the design stages, planning permission, market research, sales and the impact new trends like Airbnb may have. The video transparently documents and gives insight into the journey so far and asks questions on the future direction.
We go on a journey to salvage and restore this basement by building a structural waterproof box within the existing basement. We battle collapsing walls, incoming water, tree roots, decaying RSJ’s, condensation and leaking swimming pools while creating structures, pouring concrete, fitting Delta Membranes waterproof systems and pre-wiring for a home cinema, which we will be fitting soon.
Working across Construction, Aggregates and Waste industries we are well aware of the importance of Health & Safety in the workplace. This video aims to raise awareness for company owners/directors and those of you starting out in business to understand the depth of your responsibilities once you employ staff.
Over 1 year ago we reviewed and tested the Mercedes-Benz Actros 5 2548 LS Tractor Unit. Unfortunately, the Active Brake Assist did not work and Daniel crashed. Mercedes Benz said the Active Brake Assist is safe, the conditions were not real-life and invited us to repeat the test. So we did. This is what happened.
